This session explored how Mathematics Mastery aligns with the best practice advocated by the EEF in their Teaching Mathematics at KS2 and 3 Guidance report and with the DfE Guidance on teaching KS3 maths.
Clare Hill is the Principal School Development Lead for secondary maths at Ark Curriculum Plus and joined the programme in June 2020. Clare has taught in schools in Ealing, Hounslow and Dorset, developing her understanding and practice of dialogic teaching in the classroom - the focus of her Masters degree. Clare was an assistant headteacher in her last school role, responsible for teaching and learning. She has written about curriculum and dialogic teaching for the SSAT and the ATM MT journal.
