How secondary schools are using Mathematics Mastery to help them respond to emerging Covid needs

Responding to emerging Covid needs at home and in the secondary maths classroom

Hear from teacher Robert Millar from Ark King Solomon Academy about his experience of using the Mathematics Mastery programme this autumn under Covid-19.

Learn what the challenges have been in returning to school and how he's been supporting blended learning while some students self isolate.

Robert is a maths teacher and Year 8 form tutor at Ark King Solomon Academy.

I teach all three Year 8 classes, which are all mixed attainment. Last week one of the classes had to go home to self isolate - so I've been continuing to do live lessons with them, at the same time as their normal lesson would have been, via Microsoft Teams. This has gone really well and I think part of that comes down to the flexibility of the Maths Mastery resources.
